First Rate PA Case study – Local photographer (Anon)
About our client
Our client had been working in the photography industry for over 20 years. Working with world class photographers, they had become a creative, innovative, and inspiring photographer who worked as part of a team in London.
The task
They approached First Rate PA to find out how a Virtual Assistant could support them in growing their business locally, as well as maintaining their contacts in London. Having been promoting their business on social media, they were looking for some extra support. They chose to hire a VA, as this was a flexible solution with less risk in terms of commitment and cost.
How we solved the problem
Choosing the right VA from our team to support our client, they met to discuss the key business objectives for them to support on. Together they put together an action plan which involved:
- Undertaking a Social Media audit to improve their Social Media presence.
- Making suggestions for content to engage with their target market.
- Undertaking lead generation research on their behalf.
- Creating a database of prospects to connect with to help generate new business.
The results
A review was undertaken for all their social media platforms, helping them to utilise the platforms for their right target audience. We found that the best platforms were LinkedIn and Instagram, to help them showcase their portfolio and to increase their presence for B2B’s looking for that professional service that they offered.
The research into lead generation has helped them concentrate on the work in hand, whilst knowing that they have potential leads ready for them to contact with a personal approach.
Each month they have a catch-up meeting with their VA, so they can discuss the outcomes of each task that is set. This helps them to build a strong working relationship, so they can monitor, quickly adapt and adjust the support that they need each month.
The Review
“In our discovery call, Michelle understood how my time was precious and helped me identify the areas where I could benefit from some extra support. I found that knowing my VA was researching into leads and opportunities for me; this enabled me to concentrate on the work in hand. This has helped me to optimise my time with my clients, to continue to provide them with a quality service”.
